FAQ

  • I reserve a small number of reduced-rate spaces for folks experiencing financial barriers. Availability varies. At this time, sliding scale is full.

  • Many extended health plans in BC reimburse sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), though coverage varies by provider and plan.

  • Not at this time.

  • I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations and missed sessions are generally charged the full session fee, since that time has been reserved specifically for you.

  • I recommend beginning with weekly or bi-weekly sessions so the therapy has enough consistency and momentum to support meaningful change and deepen the relationship together.

Over time, some clients choose to continue on a more flexible basis, such as monthly or as-needed, depending on their goals, finances, and where they are in the process.

  • That’s completely okay. Many people begin therapy without knowing exactly how long they want to continue, or what shape the process will take.

You do not need to commit to long-term therapy from the outset. We can begin with a few sessions and get a sense together of whether the work feels supportive, meaningful, and sustainable for you.

Some clients come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose to engage in deeper longer-term work over time.
